The Helius Tactical Jam Nut for 12.7x42 is a black oxide jam nut for AR-15 barrels chambered in 12.7x42. It is threaded to a 49 64ths x 20 thread pitch to match the barrel threads used on this caliber. A jam nut is part of the muzzle hardware at the front of the barrel, and this one gives 12.7x42 owners a matched part for their barrel threads. What you are getting here is a single jam nut in a black oxide finish.
This jam nut is threaded to a 49 64ths x 20 thread pitch. That thread pitch matches 12.7x42 AR-15 barrels. The 12.7x42 uses a larger thread than standard AR-15 calibers, so a matched jam nut matters. This one is sized specifically for that caliber on the AR-15 platform.
The jam nut comes in a black oxide finish. The black color blends in with most barrels and muzzle devices. It is sold on its own as a single piece of muzzle hardware. Helius Tactical offers it as a dedicated part for 12.7x42 builds.
