Aegis Lightweight 14.5" 5.56 NATO AR-15 Pistol Build Kit, M-Lok, w/ Gauntlet Arms Brace
This Aegis Lightweight pistol build kit delivers everything you need to assemble a compact 5.56 NATO platform except the serialized lower receiver. The 14.5-inch government profile barrel pairs with a carbine gas system for reliable cycling, while the freefloat M-Lok handguard gives you mounting flexibility without interference. You're getting a premium bolt carrier group in nitride finish, a micro low-profile gas block, and a Gauntlet Arms polymer stabilizing brace that's built for control and stability.

Freefloat Handguard Design
The M-Lok freefloat handguard isolates the barrel from any contact with the upper receiver, eliminating harmonic interference that can affect shot grouping. This design gives you a consistent shooting platform and allows you to mount accessories exactly where you need them without worrying about barrel contact issues. The 6061-T6 aluminum construction keeps weight minimal while maintaining rigidity.
Carbine Gas System Reliability
This build uses a carbine-length gas system paired with the micro low-profile gas block. The carbine configuration works well with the 14.5-inch barrel length, providing reliable cycling without excessive back pressure. The low-profile gas block sits low on the barrel, keeping your sight line clear and maintaining a clean aesthetic while ensuring consistent operation.
Gauntlet Arms Brace Integration
The Gauntlet Arms polymer stabilizing brace provides a solid platform for control during shooting. The brace design distributes recoil forces effectively and gives you multiple grip options depending on your stance. This is a stabilizing brace, not a stock, and is configured for pistol use as shipped.
Premium Component Quality
Every major component in this kit comes from quality manufacturers. The 9310 alloy steel bolt carrier group with nitride finish resists corrosion and handles thousands of rounds without degradation. The 7075 T6 upper receiver provides the strength needed for reliable feeding and ejection. The 4150 CrMoV barrel is a proven standard for precision and longevity. These aren't budget compromises, they're solid parts that perform.
Follow safe handling and manufacturer instructions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Lower receiver not included. BCG and charging handle are included with this kit.
