This is a precision socket set screw designed for secure fastening in applications requiring reliable holding power and adjustability. The 6-32 thread size with 1/4" length fits standard component mounting, while the knurled cup point design grips surfaces firmly without marring. Internal hex drive allows precise torque control during installation and adjustment.
The knurled cup point creates a positive grip on component surfaces while the knurled texture prevents slipping during installation. This design allows for secure fastening without the surface damage that sharp or smooth points can cause. The cup point concentrates holding force in a controlled area, making it ideal for precision applications where repeated adjustment may be necessary.
The internal hex socket accommodates standard hex key tools for controlled torque application. This drive style allows fine adjustment without rounded corners or slippage common to other drive types. The socket design supports both installation and removal with consistent force control throughout the fastening process.
Black steel construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for firearm components and outdoor equipment. The 6-32 UNC thread series represents a standard fastener size widely used in precision mechanical assemblies. Right-hand threading follows conventional fastening direction, ensuring compatibility with standard tools and assembly procedures.
Follow safe handling and manufacturer instructions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
