Lower Receiver

The Spike's Tactical STLS023 PHU Skull lower receiver is precision forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished to MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2 hard coat anodize standards in black. The low shelf trigger pocket is RDIAS compatible. The magazine well carries the Pipe Hitters Union Skull logo with crossbones and a MOD PHU CAL MULTI engraving, and the ambidextrous Safe and Fire pictogram style selector markings appear on both sides of the receiver. The Spike's Tactical Apopka FL USA roll mark is present on the receiver body. The receiver accepts standard Mil-Spec AR-15 components and is compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 AAC Blackout, 9mm, and other AR-15 compatible calibers.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

The complete Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit covers the full internal lower component group, including the Mil-Spec single-stage trigger, Mil-Spec safety selector, standard Mil-Spec magazine catch, bolt catch, pivot pin, and takedown pins. An A2 style black textured polymer pistol grip covers the grip interface. The Mil-Spec heavy-duty AR-15 6-position carbine buffer tube in black anodized aluminum, standard carbine buffer at 3 oz., and standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring made in the USA form the complete buffer system at the rear of the lower. The US Tactical AR-15 and M16 Mil-Spec steel receiver end plate in black and AR-15 Mil-Spec carbine steel castle nut in black lock the buffer tube down cleanly at the rear of the receiver. The Adaptive Tactical EX Performance adjustable stock in FDE glass filled polymer fits directly onto the Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube and closes out the rear end with an adjustable length of pull, an ultra soft recoil pad for comfortable shoulder contact, an integrated QD sling mount, and an integrated sling loop that together give the builder two sling attachment options built directly into the stock body. The FDE color of the Adaptive Tactical stock provides a contrasting finish against the black anodized lower receiver, giving the lower build a two-tone black and FDE exterior from receiver to stock.
