Perfect For

• Shooters building a compact 5.56 NATO platform with modular rail system flexibility
• Pistol brace users who want a complete kit without the serialized lower receiver
• Builders seeking mil-spec reliability with quad-rail mounting options
• Home defense or range configurations where a shorter barrel profile is preferred

Quad-Rail Handguard System

The four-sided Picatinny rail design gives you full 360-degree mounting capability for optics, lights, vertical grips, and other tactical accessories. Unlike traditional handguards, quad rails provide mounting points on all four sides, making this kit extremely adaptable to your specific setup. The 7-inch length keeps the overall profile compact while the 6061-T6 aluminum construction maintains durability without excessive weight.

Carbine-Length Gas System Performance

This kit uses a carbine-length gas tube paired with the A2 front sight base, a proven combination for 10.5-inch barrels. The shorter gas system length cycles reliably with the compact barrel while keeping the upper assembly balanced. The standard forward assist and ejection port door round out a mil-spec upper that handles 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.

Complete Component Breakdown

The kit includes a stripped upper receiver with M4 feed ramps and 7075-T6 aluminum construction, a complete bolt carrier group in 8620 alloy steel with nitride finish, mil-spec charging handle, complete lower parts kit, mil-spec carbine buffer tube with standard recoil buffer and spring, castle nut, and receiver end plate. The Magpul BTR brace attaches to the standard carbine buffer tube and provides a stable shooting platform. Lower receiver not included.

Magpul BTR Brace Integration

The Magpul BTR pistol brace is designed for standard mil-spec carbine buffer tubes, which this kit includes. The brace offers a comfortable grip and arm support while maintaining the compact profile of a pistol-configured AR. The six-position adjustable buffer tube lets you dial in the length of pull to your preference.
