Material: 7075-T6 Aluminum - 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against fatigue. 7075-T6 was standardized for use in Aerospace equipment and aircraft. The Suffix T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum was chosen for the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.
Style: The SR-15 V3 has been designed in conjunction with the War Dog Industries lower receiver however it will function with any standard MilSpec lower receiver on the market. Made from lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum, high pressure tested. All materials are 100% USA sourced and manufactured.
Finish: Cerakote - Cerakoted firearms parts are finished in a 'ceramic' coating that increases the resistance against parts wear and increase abrasion and corrosion resistance, the resulting product has incredible durability and hardness on top of the original metal.
Caliber Compatibility: This upper receiver will work with standard rifle cartridges such as .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO, .300 Blackout, 6.5 Grendel, 7.62x39, 9mm Luger, and .350 Legend. This will also work with 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines.
Top Section: Flat Top Rail - This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sight installation.
Anti-Rotation Tab Compatibility: This upper receiver will NOT allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.
