G-Block kit delivers a market-first capability: now you only need a 9mm or .40 S&W upper with Glock-cut bolt and a milspec AR15 lower to shoot using Glock mags. The cost of buying a pistol-caliber carbine has just been cut in half.

The G-Block requires no permanent changes to your lower. With the included cutting guide, Glock magazines* can be altered to interface with any milspec AR15 magazine catch in under a minute. TorkMag's G17 magazines are also compatible out of the box with AR mag catches. Each kit ships with polymer magwell blocks mated to a steel fixed ejector, a mag-cutting guide, and a hex key for press fitting the magwell blocks in position.

*TorkMag strongly advises modifying only OEM Glock factory magazines.

Works well!

I recently decided to get into the PCC arena. I built two, one with this adapter and one with a 9mm (small caliber) specific lower. The Torkmag adapter actually works better than the $150 billet specific lower. It has run over 250 rounds with only one Fail to feed, and I think it was my fault. Additionally, the lower the adapter was installed in has the Franklin binary trigger. Two full 33 round mags in binary mode ran without an issue. Only reason not for Five stars is when inserting the mag there is nothing stopping over insertion with an open bolt. As far as the magazine modification, it is simple and doesn't effect their use in other guns. Overall I am impressed!

Works perfectly!!

This has to be one of my best investments for my AR platform! I must say it runs everything I put in it without failure! I have it with a cold hammer forged 7 1/2 barrel. Very accurate for such a short barrel and open sights! For the price and that there is nothing to the process of converting it is well worth the price! Thank you DTT for all that you have provided to America! Please let us know when you are back in stock with new bolts and parts for them. It would be amazing if someone can build a .17 Remington barrel for my AR.

Glock mag adapter

I kinda knew what i was getting into on this one. I was building my AR9 on the cheap. Cutting a notch on my magazine wasnt a problem for me. What i did have a problem with was the cover that goes over my mag to show where to cut. It was a tight fit going on. So after cutting my mag the guide was completely stuck!!! I had to put the mag in a vise and use a screwdriver and rubber mallet to pound it off. Trust me, that was my last resort. So now the cut guide is trashed. My mag is ok and works great despite being squeezed in a vise. Unfortunately that is the only one I'll have. So i would say being able to only modify 1 magazine is not worth it. Honestly, i wish i spent a little more and bought a dedicated 9mm lower.
