Recoil Technologies "Luchs" .223/5.56 1/2x28 TPI Linear Muzzle Brake Nitride
Recoil Technologies "Linear" muzzle break directs all of the muzzle blast forward reducing the noise away from the shooters ears increasing shooting comfort. Large, dual expansion chamber greatly reduces flash. This device has been classified as a non-flash suppressing device & so it is legal to use in states such as California. Yet, it does produce a much lower flash signature than most other compensators even some flash hider types keeping the flash out of your optics and line of sight. Eliminates muzzle climb 70% to almost non-detectable levels. Recoil Technologies break has superior muzzle climb compensation this break will keep your shots on target & speed up follow up shots greatly. Designed by 3 gun competitive shooters to keep the bore level & clear during fast repeat shots. On AR-15 pistols it reduces greatly that huge fireball & noticeable blast that comes out of the end of the muzzle of AR-15 pistols making this an excellent choice for AR-15 pistols & Rifles Both. Quality made for a lifetime of shooting and really sets off the look of the gun Great For AR-15 Pistols. Designed to redirect propellant gases with the effect of countering flash, recoil and unwanted rising of the barrel during firing
There are three main types of muzzle devices for your weapon: flash suppressors/flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and compensators. AR-15’s are getting more and more popular every day, partially due to their low recoil and muzzle rise. But with a good muzzle brake, recoil can be reduced even more. With a good compensator, muzzle rise significantly drops, almost vanishing. And while muzzle flash cannot be completely eliminated, it can be significantly reduced with a quality flash hider. These muzzle devices are growing increasingly more popular due to how easy they are to put on, 5-10 minutes with the right tool, because of their incredible efficiency, and because they make a cool looking gun.
About This Muzzle Device: Linear Compensator - Similar to the basic compensator, a linear compensator releases the escaping gas forward towards the target. This creates the illusion that the weapon is quieter due to the sound traveling forward towards the target instead of back towards the shooter or out to the sides. These style compensators are extremely effective on shorter AR-15’s. And although putting one on your longer barrel rifle is just as easy. You will see the benefit of these compensators more on your 7.5-10.5 inch barrels.
Threading: 1/2x28 Is a common thread type for muzzle devices made for .22 caliber projectiles, commonly found on AR-15 barrels chambered in .223 Wylde, 5.56 NATO, and including .224 Valkyrie.
Finish: Nitride - Nitriding is a process during manufacturing that diffuses nitrogen into the steel to make a case-hardened surface for improved resistance and strength. A Nitrided barrel typically has a gloss black texture.
