The Blast Diverter from Midwest Industries is a great choice for anyone who is on a dynamic entry team or frequently shoots in close proximity to other people. It is a linear compensator that works to divert all of the muzzle blast from your rifle or pistol straight forward, towards the target, and reducing the effect of concussion on those around you. It fits any 5.56/.223 rifle or pistol with standard 1/2-28 threads. The Blast Diverter is made of tool steel with a Parkerized finish, and includes a new crush washer. A must for any AR-15 build.

About This Muzzle Device: Compensators - A compensator lowers the rise of your weapon upon the firing of your gun, allowing you to return to the target quicker. It has holes or slots, also known as ports cut only into the upper half of the device, which helps the escaping gases force the muzzle to stay down instead of moving upward. A high-quality compensator helps the shooter stay on target, or return to it faster.

Threading: 1/2x28 Is a common thread type for muzzle devices made for .22 caliber projectiles, commonly found on AR-15 barrels chambered in .223 Wylde, 5.56 NATO, and including .224 Valkyrie.

Finish: Manganese Phosphate - Manganese Phosphate finishes are used on barrels to protect against corrosion and wear. Manganese Phosphate finish is considered for its toughness, and is used in multiple different applications such as aerospace, ordnance, and other firearms-related parts.
