Typically Mil-Spec Lower Receivers are typically machined from a forging of 7075-T6 Aluminum. Offering a Lightweight and and incredibily durable/impact resistant weapons grade material. The LR-308 is a derivative of the AR-10 and is not directively compatible with AR-10 Style Upper Receivers. LR-308 lowers incorporate a 'DPMS' style cut in the lower 's buffer tower and upper receiver.
