The Fleetbane Upper Build Kit from Davidson Defense is a .223 Wylde AR-15 upper assembly built around an 11.5-inch Government-profile barrel with a carbine-length gas system. The kit includes the upper receiver, barrel, and handguard. The bolt carrier group and charging handle are not included.
The barrel runs 11.5 inches in .223 Wylde with a 1-in-8 twist rate, Government profile, and 4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium construction with a nitride finish. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a .750 O.D. micro low-profile barrel steel gas block. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramps. Thread pitch is 1-in-2x28, and the kit includes a GI Birdcage flash hider compatible with 5.56 and .223.
The freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with a black finish. The freefloat profile provides a clean forend with M-Lok interface for accessory placement along the rail.
