Behind the gas, the block will be a Government profile tapering to a shoulder and a 1.1" journal .625 gas block. In front of the gas block, the barrel will continue straight to a 1/2x28 muzzle with the full shoulder.

General Barrel Info: The Barrel on an AR-15 pistol operates through a 'gas impingement' system, where gas is tapped from off from the barrel and cycle back through a connected gas system, to help the bolt carrier in unlocking and extracting a spent cartridge. Finish: Nitride - Nitriding is a process during manufacturing that diffuses nitrogen into the steel to make a case-hardened surface for improved resistance and strength. A Nitrided barrel typically have a gloss black texture.
Thread Pitch: 1/2x28 - This threading is commonly found on barrels chambered in 5.56, .223, and .224. This will allow the installation of most muzzle devices such as flash hiders, blast cans, and compensators threaded to 1/2x28 threads.
