This Aegis Lightweight 16.5-inch Mid-Gas 1:7 5.56 NATO AR-15 Complete Upper Build from Davidson Defense features a 16.5-inch 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel with a nitride finish, offering durability and precision, with a 1:7 twist rate for optimal projectile stabilization. The mid-length gas system minimizes recoil and maximizes cycling efficiency. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, the upper receiver is anodized for corrosion resistance. Complementing this is a 15-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard made from 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring a lightweight profile without sacrificing rigidity. A 9310 alloy steel bolt carrier group (BCG) provides dependable function, paired with a Mil-Spec charging handle for smooth operation.
