The Sindar Complete Upper is built around an ELD Performance 16-inch 9mm (9x19) barrel machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel in an H-Bar heavy profile, with a 1:10 twist and a Nitride finish. It is paired with a 6061-T6 billet aluminum upper receiver in Type III hard coat anodizing and a black free-float handguard machined from aircraft-grade aluminum. It ships with a 9mm Nitride bolt carrier group and a mil-spec charging handle, so the builder receives the core working components of an AR-9 upper in one package. The 1/2x36 muzzle threads accept a compatible muzzle device, and this build is listed as suppressor ready. A muzzle device is not listed with this kit. Barrel and Muzzle
The 16-inch ELD Performance barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel in an H-Bar heavy profile and finished in Nitride, a surface treatment that adds hardness and corrosion resistance while leaving a clean, matte black look. Its 1:10 twist rate is suited to a wide range of 9mm bullet weights. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x36, the common thread pitch for 9mm devices, and is ready for a compatible muzzle device or suppressor mount.
Upper Receiver and Handguard
The upper receiver is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished in Type III hard coat anodizing, a hard, wear-resistant surface that resists scratches and corrosion. It is paired with a black free-float handguard machined from aircraft-grade aluminum. As a free-float design, it leaves the barrel free of handguard contact, keeping the front end clean.
Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle
The included 9mm bolt carrier group is machined from 416 stainless steel with a Nitride finish, which adds hardness and corrosion resistance and helps the carrier stand up to repeated cycling. It is paired with a mil-spec AR-15 charging handle, completing the upper so it is ready to be matched with a compatible lower receiver.
Compatibility
This upper is built for AR-9 lower receivers chambered in 9mm (9x19). Handguard length and attachment system, muzzle device inclusion, ejection port door and forward assist configuration, and the magazine compatibility of the bolt carrier group (Glock or Colt pattern) were not supplied with this listing and should be confirmed before purchase. The lower receiver's magazine well pattern must match the bolt carrier group.
