Davidson Defense "Seafire" Slanted Port 10" AR-15 M-Lok Handguard
One of the most important parts of an AR-15 is the handguard. Handguards have gone through many changes over the years from the plastic clamshell-style to the free float system. Both systems give the shooter a comfortable grip while protecting their hand from the heat that radiates from the barrel. Both systems have many different designs and features built into them but the freefloat system tends to be more modular. While some of the drop-in handguards offer M-Lok slots and QD mount points, most free float systems offer those same options and usually more available slots. Most handguard options have built-in options for mounting lights, lasers, pop-up sights, etc., and those that don't have them built-in may have M-Lok or Keymod options for mounting accessories.
