Billet Aluminum Construction and Precision
The 6061-T6 billet aluminum upper receiver provides superior durability and tight tolerances compared to forged alternatives. Type III hard coat anodize protects against corrosion and wear during extended use. This material choice ensures consistent performance across thousands of rounds.
4150 Chrome Moly Barrel with Nitride Finish
The 16.5-inch barrel uses 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel, a proven material for reliability and longevity. Nitride finishing increases surface hardness and corrosion resistance while maintaining the barrel's inherent strength. The 1:7 twist rate stabilizes projectiles from 55 to 77 grains, making this upper versatile for most 5.56 NATO loads.
Mid-Length Gas System and Micro Low-Profile Gas Block
Mid-length gas systems reduce felt recoil and provide smoother cycling compared to carbine-length alternatives. The micro low-profile gas block minimizes sight line obstruction, allowing lower-mounted optics to coexist with backup iron sights. Stainless steel construction resists fouling and extends service life.
M-Lok Handguard and Modular Mounting
The 15-inch M-Lok handguard offers modern accessory mounting without rail weight. M-Lok slots accept a wide range of tactical accessories, from lights to vertical grips, enabling customization for your specific mission profile.
