The Davidson Defense Corestrike with Gauntlet Arms Brace is an AR-15 pistol full build kit chambered in .300 Blackout with an 8.5-inch heavy profile barrel. The kit includes the upper assembly, bolt carrier group, charging handle, Gauntlet Arms polymer pistol stabilizing brace, heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube, 3 oz carbine buffer with aluminum body and internal steel weights, carbine recoil spring, mil-spec receiver end plate, AR-15 carbine castle nut, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware. The lower receiver is not included.

Barrel and Gas System

The 8.5-inch heavy profile barrel is 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and a 1:8 twist rate suited for both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout loads. The muzzle is threaded at 5-in-8x24 and pairs with the included GI birdcage flash hider. The pistol-length gas system uses a .750 O.D. steel micro low-profile gas block, which sits beneath the handguard and keeps the forend profile clean and unobstructed.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The slick side billet upper receiver is 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type 3 Class 2 hardcoat anodized finish. The slick side profile removes the forward assist and ejection port door provisions found on standard upper receivers, giving the build a cleaner exterior profile. The 7-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard is aluminum in black, keeping the forend lightweight and compact with M-Lok accessory slots for lights, grips, and other attachments. The handguard length is shorter than the 8.5-inch barrel, and the muzzle device extends beyond the handguard to provide the necessary clearance.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included bolt carrier group is a complete AR-15 unit with a 9310 alloy steel bolt head and an 8620 alloy steel body, finished in nitride. It is compatible with .300 Blackout, 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, and .350 Legend configurations. The mil-spec charging handle completes the upper component set.

Gauntlet Arms Brace and Buffer System

The Gauntlet Arms polymer pistol stabilizing brace in black pairs with the included heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube. The 3 oz carbine buffer features an aluminum body with internal steel weights and pairs with the included carbine recoil spring. The mil-spec receiver end plate, AR-15 carbine castle nut, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware cover the core lower completion components outside the serialized lower receiver.
