The Davidson Defense Atriox with Gauntlet Arms Brace is an AR-15 pistol full build kit chambered in 5.56 NATO with an 11.5-inch government profile barrel. The kit includes the upper assembly, bolt carrier group, charging handle, Gauntlet Arms nylon reinforced polymer pistol stabilizing brace, heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube, 3 oz carbine buffer with aluminum body and internal steel weights, carbine recoil spring, phosphate-finished metal receiver end plate, phosphate-finished steel castle nut, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware. The lower receiver is not included.

The 11.5-inch government profile barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with a phosphate finish and a 1:7 twist rate. The barrel handles the 5.56 NATO chamber and provides the threaded muzzle end for the included GI birdcage flash hider at a 1-in-2x28 thread pitch. The carbine-length gas system uses a .750 O.D. steel micro low-profile gas block paired with a stainless steel carbine-length gas tube, which sits beneath the handguard and keeps the forend profile clean and unobstructed.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and an anodized finish. M4 feed ramps support reliable cartridge feeding from the magazine into the chamber. The 10-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with a Cerakote finish in black, featuring a quad rail section at the front end for optics, lights, and other attachments. The M-Lok slots along the handguard body provide additional attachment points for lights, grips, and other accessories. The handguard length matches the 11.5-inch barrel, with the muzzle device providing clearance beyond the handguard.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included bolt carrier group is a complete AR-15 unit built from 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish, made in the USA. It is compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend configurations. The mil-spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

Gauntlet Arms Brace and Buffer System

The Gauntlet Arms pistol stabilizing brace is nylon reinforced polymer in black and pairs with the included heavy duty aluminum pistol buffer tube. The 3 oz carbine buffer features an aluminum body with internal steel weights and pairs with the included carbine recoil spring. The phosphate-finished metal receiver end plate, phosphate-finished steel castle nut, lower parts kit, and all associated buffer system hardware cover the core lower completion components outside the serialized lower receiver.
