7075-T6 Carbine Buffer Tube

The buffer tube in this kit is a carbine length tube made from 7075-T6 aluminum. It has a Type III hardcoat anodized finish with a dry film coating. The tube is the main rear support piece for the lower and the anchor point for a carbine stock or brace. It follows the Mil-Spec carbine pattern for the AR-15 platform.

H2 Buffer and Flatwire Recoil Spring

This kit includes an H2 carbine buffer that weighs 4.6 oz. It is paired with a flatwire recoil spring made from 17-4 PH stainless steel in a natural stainless finish. Flatwire springs use a flat wound wire instead of the round wire found on standard carbine springs. Together, the buffer and spring complete the buffer system that goes with the carbine tube.

End Plate and Castle Nut

The kit includes an AR-15 M16 Mil-Spec receiver end plate with a black phosphate finish. A black AR-15 carbine castle nut is included as well.
