DPMS Forged Aluminum Receiver Quality

The DPMS DA-15 lower receiver uses 7075-T6 forged aluminum, a material choice that delivers superior strength compared to cast alternatives. Forged construction creates a denser grain structure that resists stress fractures and maintains dimensional accuracy through extended use. The MIL-A-8625 Type III hardcoat anodize specification provides corrosion resistance and surface durability. This receiver accepts standard mil-spec AR-15 components without modification, ensuring straightforward integration with upper assemblies and aftermarket parts.

SB Tactical SBA5 Adjustable Stabilizing Brace

The SBA5 brace mounts directly to the carbine buffer tube using a slide-on adjustable interface. The brace features six positions along the buffer tube, allowing shooters to dial in length of pull for their shooting style and hand size. The impact-resistant polymer construction remains lightweight while the adjustable nylon stabilizing strap provides control and support. The Flat Dark Earth finish coordinates with a wide range of upper receiver colors and anodize types. This brace design supports both one-handed and two-handed shooting configurations.

Complete Lower Parts Kit Integration

The Davidson Defense 31-piece lower parts kit includes all internal components required to complete the lower receiver. The kit contains trigger components, hammer, disconnector, selector, magazine catch, bolt catch, and all associated pins and springs. Materials include steel for high-wear components and aluminum for weight-appropriate parts. Phosphate and anodized finishes protect against corrosion. The mil-spec trigger features a curved trigger shoe and breaks cleanly without requiring aftermarket upgrades. The A2 pistol grip provides standard ergonomics and accepts standard grip accessories.

Buffer System and Receiver Extension

The heavy-duty carbine buffer tube uses 6061 aluminum machined to 1.145 inches outer diameter and 1 inch inner diameter. The 6-position design allows adjustment from a 7.15-inch fully collapsed position to a longer extended position. The tube weighs 3.8 ounces and features Type II anodized black finish. A standard 3-ounce carbine buffer and standard carbine recoil spring complete the buffer system. The US Tactical receiver end plate and AR-15 carbine castle nut secure the assembly to the lower receiver.
