The Ungoliant from Delta Team Tactical is a complete 6mm ARC AR-15 rifle built around a 7000 Series optimized upper receiver and an 18 inch government profile barrel, paired with a 17 inch free float M-LOK handguard. The rifle pairs this upper with a Davidson Defense no logo lower receiver, giving the build a matched upper and lower set right out of the box. The barrel is cut with 5R rifling and a 1-7.5 twist rate suited to 6mm ARC bullet weights, and the rifle includes a complete bolt carrier group, an ambidextrous charging handle, a full buffer system, and a Magpul MOE RL carbine stock.

Upper Assembly and Barrel

The Ungoliant upper assembly pairs a 7000 Series optimized upper receiver, finished in Type III hardcoat anodized black, with an 18 inch government profile barrel and a 17 inch free float M-LOK handguard. The barrel is made from 41V50 CrMoV steel with a nitride finish, cut with 5R rifling and a 1-7.5 twist rate suited to 6mm ARC bullet weights. The handguard includes quad rails at the front end along with front and rear QD sling mounts. The rifle uses a rifle length gas system with a premium low profile adjustable gas block. Together these components make up the front end of this 6mm ARC AR-15 rifle.

Bolt Carrier Group, Charging Handle, and Muzzle Device

This rifle includes a complete 65 Grendel II bolt carrier group finished in QPQ nitride, sized for the 6mm ARC cartridge's shared bolt pattern, along with a Crescent lightweight ambidextrous charging handle. A muzzle-mounted fake can in a 308 profile sits at the end of the barrel, and an ejection port door with rod and spring rounds out the moving components on the upper side of this build.

Lower Receiver and Controls

This rifle includes a Davidson Defense no logo lower receiver finished in black hardcoat anodize, featuring a milled ambidextrous bolt catch slot paired with an ambidextrous bolt catch kit and an ambidextrous safety selector. An AR-15 lower parts kit covers the remaining internal components. Together these features give the lower receiver ambidextrous controls on both sides of the rifle.

Buffer System and Stock

This rifle includes a Mil-Spec 6-position buffer tube, a 3 oz standard carbine buffer, and a standard carbine recoil spring, with a Mil-Spec receiver end plate and castle nut rounding out the rear hardware. A Magpul MOE RL carbine stock in matte black tops off the buffer system, compatible with the Mil-Spec buffer tube included on this build.
