The Ground Ripper is built around a 16-inch heavy .308 Winchester barrel, machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish, paired with an AR-10 high-profile upper receiver finished in black anodizing. It pairs a 15-inch high-profile LR-308 KeyMod handguard with a .308 standoff muzzle brake at the muzzle, running on a mid-length gas system. BCG and charging handle are not included, leaving the buyer to supply those components separately.

Barrel and Gas System

The barrel runs 16 inches long, chambered in .308 Winchester and built from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish and HBAR profile. It carries a 1:10 twist rate and a 5/8x24 muzzle thread. Gas cycles back to the action through a mid-length system, running a stainless steel mid-length gas tube and a micro low-profile steel gas block sized to a .750-inch diameter.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is an AR-10 high-profile unit finished in black anodizing, fitted with an AR-15 forward assist assembly and an LR-308 ejection port door assembly. Over the barrel sits a 15-inch high-profile LR-308 handguard, model MTK15H308, using a KeyMod attachment system along its length.

Muzzle Device

Capping the muzzle is a .308 standoff muzzle brake rated for .30 caliber. It threads onto the barrel's 5/8x24 pattern and is secured with the included 5/8-inch black crush washer.
