The pistol-length gas system pairs with a micro low-profile 0.750 gas block to cover the gas regulation side of the upper. A GI Birdcage flash hider in manganese phosphate at 1/2x28 rounds out the muzzle end.

Side Charging Upper Receiver and Handguard

The side charging upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish, forming the structural core of the upper assembly. The freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum in black, surrounding the barrel without contact and providing M-Lok mounting positions for compatible accessories.

Side Charging Bolt Carrier Group

The Recoil Technologies side charging bolt carrier group is 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish. It works with the side charging upper receiver to cycle the action via the included side charging handle, completing the upper side component set without the need for a standard top-mounted charging handle.

Brace and Buffer System

The Gauntlet Arms black nylon reinforced polymer stabilizing brace is included with a heavy-duty pistol buffer tube. The buffer system consists of a 3 oz buffer and a standard carbine recoil spring. A Mil-Spec receiver end plate and castle nut complete the rear hardware included with this full build kit.
