Barrel and Gas System

The 12.5-inch Bear Creek barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel in a SOCOM profile with a Parkerized finish and a 1:10 twist rate suited to .308 Winchester. It runs a pistol-length gas system through a pistol-length gas tube and a standard low-profile adjustable gas block finished in Melonite, with an .875-inch diameter matched to the barrel's .875-inch gas journal. At the muzzle, 5/8x24 threads carry the included .308 standoff muzzle brake rated for .30 caliber, secured with the supplied 5/8-inch black crush washer.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a billet-machined LR-308 unit built to the DPMS low profile pattern with a Type III hardcoat black anodized finish, and the ejection port door ships assembled. The forward assist is not included on this upper. It's paired with a 10-inch ultra-lightweight, thin free-float M-LOK handguard in a low-profile design with a monolithic Picatinny top rail, finished in black.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

A Recoil Technologies bolt carrier group is included, finished in Nitride for corrosion resistance and smoother cycling, and rated across .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .243 Winchester. Alongside it, an aluminum LR-308 charging handle is included, sized correctly for the AR-10 pattern upper.

Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

The Recoil Technologies .308 mil-spec quality Lower Parts Kit is built for LR-308/AR-10 pattern platforms and includes the complete fire control group along with a black mil-spec A2 pistol grip. The buffer system pairs a 3.76-ounce LR-308 collapsible stock buffer with an AR-10 carbine extra-power buffer spring machined from 17-7 stainless steel and made in the USA, along with the AR-15 carbine castle nut and mil-spec receiver end plate, cycling inside a heavy-duty mil-spec AR-15 six-position carbine buffer tube in black.
