Upper Assembly and Barrel

The Ronin Competition upper assembly pairs a Black Diamond Series slick side billet upper receiver with a 7.5 inch steel barrel and an ACE-20 Series 7 inch free float M-LOK handguard. The receiver is machined from billet aluminum and made in the USA, giving the upper a solid one piece feel with a smooth, uninterrupted side profile. The barrel is phosphate finished for corrosion resistance and built in an HBAR profile, a heavier contour that adds some weight forward for a steadier feel during shooting. It is cut with a 1-8 twist rate suited to a range of 300 Blackout bullet weights. The upper uses a pistol length gas system paired with a premium low profile adjustable gas block, giving the shooter some control over how the system cycles. Together these components make up the front end of this 300 Blackout AR-15 pistol build.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

This kit includes a complete bolt carrier group made in the USA and compatible with 223, 556, 300, and 350 calibers. A Mil-Spec M4 charging handle and an ejection port door with rod and spring are also included, rounding out the moving components on the upper side of this build.

308 Flash and Sound Forwarder

This kit includes a 308 flash and sound forwarder finished in nitride for durability. This type of muzzle device is designed to help manage flash signature and sound direction at the muzzle end of the barrel, and it is included as part of this 300 Blackout AR-15 pistol build.
