Receiver Construction and Finish

This upper receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet stock, built specifically to the 416/MR556 pattern rather than a standard AR-15 profile. It's finished in black hardcoat anodizing, a treatment that adds wear and corrosion resistance while giving the receiver its black color. Running across the top is an integrated Picatinny rail, machined directly into the receiver for mounting optics or sighting systems.
