Davidson Defense AR-10/LR-308 Billet 80% Blank Lower - Raw Aluminum

80% Blanks can be made in many different materials that each have their benefits in ease of manufacturing and overall finish when complete.

Particularly 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum is a near-identical alloy used most commonly in modern AR-10 lower receivers. The Suffix "-T6" is an indicator of how the aluminum alloy was heat treated & tempered to give it improved strength and corrosion resistance, before bluing or finishing the lower with a cerakote or anodizing.

Many 80% AR-10 Receivers will be made from Forged Aluminum 7075-T6, 6061-T6, and Composite Polymers.

The lower receiver of an AR-10 is essentially the backbone of the weapon everything else is built off of it, it is what makes an AR-10 a firearm. An 80% lower receiver is exactly what it says, it is a lower receiver that is 80% complete. By it being 80% complete it is considered a normal part and not a serialized firearm, so it is legal to purchase without the need of going through a background check or a local gun dealer.
