LR-308 High Profile Black A3 Stripped Billet Upper Receiver

Upper Receivers mount and house the barrel, handguard, and gas system in an AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. Mil-Spec upper receivers are made to 'Military Specification' and are meant to either match or exceed the military requirements imposed onto the design for its service rifles. Featuring a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail section on the top for mounting Optics and Iron Sights a Brass Deflector and a Standard Forward Assist section.

About this Upper: This upper LR-308/AR-10 receiver features a standard 'Mil-Spec' design made out of Billet 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. With a Standard rifle cartridge size ejection door. The .308 High Profile A3 Stripped Upper with feed ramps is precision CNC machined and ready for your next build!

Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum - 6061-T6 Aluminum resembles the strength of the more common 7075-T6 aluminum found on original AR-15/M4 pattern rifles. 6061-T6 has excellent strength and workability and was adopted for use in the commercial AR-15 market as it showed high strength and corrosion resistance during firearms testing.

Style: Mil-Spec - Mil-Spec is the standard for the United States Military for reliability, commonality, reduced cost, and meeting the requirements of a service rifle. 'Mil-Spec' is the essential technical requirement for military-unique materiel or substantially modified commercial items.

Finish: Anodized - This upper receiver is anodized, this process increases the thickness and hardness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts. This increases the corrosion and wears resistance of the Upper Receiver.

Caliber Compatability: Standard - This upper receiver will work with standard rifle cartridges such as .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, etc.

Top Section: Flat Top Rail - This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sight installation.

Anti-Rotation Tab Compatibility: This upper receiver will NOT allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.
